REMAK

REMAK’s journey began in 1960 when Mr. Refik Bilgili, senior, established a small workshop in Balat, an ancient neighborhood of Istanbul near the Byzantine city walls on the shore of the Golden Horn. Initially focused on overhauling industrial machinery, the company soon expanded into manufacturing its own flexographic printing machines for films used in the packaging industry. To meet industry demands, REMAK also developed lamination machines and slitter/rewinders, completing the full range of equipment needed for flexible packaging production.

In the 1980s, with the rise of the polypropylene woven sack sector, REMAK designed its legendary roll-to-roll fabric printing machine, with over 300 units installed worldwide to date. The company’s design and technology are key factors behind customers’ preference, with REMAK machines recognized for their solid construction and ease of operation—elements that have fueled the company’s remarkable success.

Now managed by the third generation of the Bilgili family, REMAK has introduced the gearless, full sleeve central impression printer, representing the latest advancement in the field.
