The story of ÇALIŞKAN Tarım began in a small workshop in 1968 and became an officially registered company in 1994, named after its founder, Mr. Nihat Çalışkan. Since 2000, the second generation has continued to grow the company, upholding the same philosophy and standards.

Specializing in bay leaves, wild mushrooms, capers, medicinal herbs, spices, seeds, and essential oils, ÇALIŞKAN operates in its modern facilities certified with ISO 22000 and HACCP, producing according to international food safety regulations.

Now one of Turkey’s top bay leaf producers, the company is also renowned for sourcing and processing herbs like thyme, rosemary, sage, anise, cumin, and fennel seeds directly at the source—ensuring purity, traceability, and quality.
