Beschreibung
Viscose is a type of rayon made from beech wood and is composed of cellulose, similar to cotton. During production, the cellulose structure undergoes minimal chemical changes and remains as cellulose after solidification. It closely resembles cotton in structure, has high quality, and excellent moisture absorption. It is used to provide a glossy effect in fabrics such as crepe and knits. Viscose serves as a natural silk substitute in applications where durability is not critical. Common uses include linings, blouses, shirts, dresses, décor fabrics, jackets, curtains, upholstery, medical textiles, nonwoven fabrics, and women's underwear. It is also blended with other fibers like cotton, linen, and wool.
