In 1959, during a time when producing or even importing plastic raw materials in Turkey was a challenge, a bold step led to the creation of the Ege Yıldız and Egeplast brands. Initiated under the leadership of the late businessman Mazhar Zorlu, this journey began with the production of pharmaceutical tubes and kitchenware, later expanding to the manufacturing of plastic pipes, fittings, and related products with the establishment of Ege Yıldız Plastik Pazarlama ve Sanayi A.Ş.

In 1973, responding to the growing need for modern technology, Egeplast A.Ş. was established, initiating production in advanced facilities. Egeplast strengthened its leading position by offering a wide range of products used in applications from infrastructure to in-building installations, including clean water distribution, sewage, telecommunications, natural gas, drainage, and more.

Going public in 1996, Egeplast became one of Turkey’s largest plastic pipe manufacturers, with an annual capacity of 85,000 tons of plastic processing and state-of-the-art production technologies. Operating in its 80,000 m² facility located in İzmir Atatürk Organized Industrial Zone, the company adheres to quality, environmental, and occupational safety standards.
