Nitrile Rubber (NBR)

Formed by mixing acrylonitrile and butadiene monomers with additives. The acrylonitrile content, usually between 18% and 50%, determines the material's properties. Acrylonitrile imparts polarity to reduce solubility in hydrocarbons. Higher acrylonitrile content increases resistance to oils, fuels, lubricants, and gases, improves mechanical properties, elasticity, and lifespan. Lower content reduces low-temperature resistance and elasticity, making processing more difficult. Widely used as a general-purpose material in sealing elements, offering a good cost-function balance. Operating Temperature: -40°C / +100°C
