Biriz Kuruyemiş began its commercial journey in 1974 in Serinhisar – Denizli, founded by Mustafa Çolak, producing roasted chickpeas (leblebi) and selling raw chickpeas. In 2007, the second-generation representative of the family, Hamza Çolak, established the company as a limited liability entity in the same district.

In 2010, a factory was built in Merkezefendi – Denizli, covering 3,500 m², with an annual production capacity of 10,000 tons of leblebi, accelerating the brand’s growth.

In 2013, a sunflower seed sorting and packaging facility was established in Çal – Denizli, covering 16,000 m² and equipped with the latest technology, operating under international food regulations with all necessary tests, analyses, and controls.

Biriz Kuruyemiş sources the freshest products directly from farmers, processes them with care, and exports 90% of its production to the Balkans, Europe, the Russian Federation, North Africa, and Asian countries.
