In the early 20th century, Sheikh Hamad Bin Mohammed Aljabr started a business in agricultural real estate development, with the support of his father. In 1952, his sons—Abdulaziz, Mohammed, and Abdullatif—continued his legacy by founding a small food trading company.

Today, Aljabr Holding has evolved into a multi-line conglomerate, with a diversified portfolio covering automobiles, banking and finance, real estate, oil & gas services, contracting, home appliances, food & beverages, laundry, light industry, and agriculture. The group employs over 6,000 people across Saudi Arabia and the Gulf region.
