Edge Insulation Strip

Edge Insulation Strip is a specialized sealing tape used in underfloor heating systems, applied between the screed and the walls. It provides an expansion gap so the heated screed doesn’t crack or damage as it expands. The strip also prevents valuable heat from escaping into the walls, thereby improving energy efficiency. The screed behaves like it’s contained in a “pool,” expanding safely within the gap created by the flexible strip.
