Modal

Modal, made from beech wood, is a completely natural fiber with high wet and dry strength. It is very durable against wear and has excellent moisture transfer and breathability. Fabrics knitted or woven from modal yarns have a soft touch and provide comfort even in warm and humid climates. Modal fiber absorbs about 50% more water than cotton, preventing sweat and keeping the body dry. It is used in t-shirts, socks, underwear, towels, bathrobes, woven and knitted textiles.
