Our Story
The story of TAFE GIDA begins in 1926 when the Tahincioğlu family entered the food industry with tahini production in the ancient city of Mardin.

Between 1949 and 1956, the family’s youngest son, Fehmi Tahincioğlu, joined the business, and operations continued in Diyarbakır as a confectionery company. In 1956, KENT ŞEKERLEME was founded in Istanbul, with all seven brothers joining the venture. Over the years, KENT GIDA became the creator of many iconic products that earned recognition both in Turkey and around the world.

In 2014, Fehmi Tahincioğlu established TAFE GIDA in Gebze, Kocaeli, to carry the legacy forward. In 2019, the second-generation family member, Nebil Tahincioğlu, joined the company to lead the brand into the future.

With a long-standing commitment to quality, flavor, and innovation, TAFE continues to offer delicious and healthy products that honor the family's heritage.
