Biriz Kuruyemiş began its commercial journey in 1974 in Serinhisar – Denizli, founded by Mustafa Çolak, producing roasted chickpeas (leblebi) and selling raw chickpeas. In 2007, the second-generation representative of the family, Hamza Çolak, established the company as a limited liability entity in the same district. In 2010, a factory was built in Merkezefendi – Denizli, covering 3,500 m², with an annual production capacity of 10,000 tons of leblebi, accelerating the brand’s growth. In 2013, a sunflower seed sorting and packaging facility was established in Çal – Denizli, covering 16,000 m² and equipped with the latest technology, operating under international food regulations with all necessary tests, analyses, and controls.
