Our story began in 1930 in Mardin, under the roof of a small stone house where confectionery production took place. Today, the third generation continues this tradition in Istanbul. We reinterpret our confectionery products using the finest ingredients and the most elegant presentations, creating high-quality sweets for our valued customers that blend tradition with modernity.
AZMET – Leading in Confectionery and Toy Production Since 1982 Founded in 1982, AZMET started its production journey with plastic toys, maintaining a strong position in the sector for many years. In 2002, the company expanded into dragee candy production, introducing the candy-with-toy concept. In 2012, AZMET established its cocoa hazelnut cream production facility, followed by its bubble gum production facility in 2017. Continuously expanding its product range, the company has become a key player in the industry, exporting to more than 35 countries while prioritizing quality and customer satisfaction.
ANL Food – From Istanbul to the World Since 2005 Founded in 2005, ANL Food Inc. Co. plays a significant role in the chocolate products industry. At its integrated facilities in Istanbul, the company produces chocolate surprise eggs with toys, cream-filled surprise eggs with toys, cornets and mini cones, figure chocolates for kids, chocolate-coated mini wafers, and cream-filled chocolates for both adults and children. The company has invested in a modern licorice production facility and continues producing chocolate and licorice products across 50,000 m² of closed area in Esenyurt and Avcılar. Altın Safran – Family Heritage in Confectionery Since 1945 The journey of İsmail Hamamcı began in Istanbul in 1945, where he trained with the most skilled confectionery masters of the time to master the art of Turkish Delight making. His remarkable talent and dedication allowed him to learn royal recipes and traditional techniques. After reaching mastery, he moved to Safranbolu and founded Karaağaç Şekerleme, adding halva and jam to the product range. Passing down the craft through generations, his son Ahmet Hamamcı expanded production, and his grandson Arda Burak Hamamcı further increased production capacity and distribution network, launching the Altın Safran brand from Safranbolu to Istanbul. Today, with a monthly production capacity of 180 tons, the company produces Turkish Delight and other traditional sweets to the highest hygiene standards, with a team of skilled experts, positioning itself as one of Turkey’s leading brands in the sector.
Alko Confectionery – Over a Century of Confectionery Expertise The Kolayli Family entered the confectionery industry in 1920 in Afyonkarahisar, located in the southern part of Turkey. After decades of business experience, Ahmet Kolayli established a modernized confectionery factory in 1993. Since then, the company has successfully served clients in both B2B and B2C markets, adopting a multidisciplinary approach that integrates production and sales, enabling steady expansion into both local and global markets. Koska Mahir A.Ş. – A Century of Tradition, Quality, and Innovation The story of Koska began in 1907 when Hacı Emin Bey opened his first halva shop in Denizli. His son, Hacı Halil İbrahim Adil Dindar, carried on the craft in Denizli and later in Istanbul’s Beyazıt-Koska district. After his passing in 1980, his three sons continued under two companies, one of which is Koska Mahir A.Ş. Our Story The story of TAFE GIDA begins in 1926 when the Tahincioğlu family entered the food industry with tahini production in the ancient city of Mardin. Between 1949 and 1956, the family’s youngest son, Fehmi Tahincioğlu, joined the business, and operations continued in Diyarbakır as a confectionery company. In 1956, KENT ŞEKERLEME was founded in Istanbul, with all seven brothers joining the venture. Over the years, KENT GIDA became the creator of many iconic products that earned recognition both in Turkey and around the world. In 2014, Fehmi Tahincioğlu established TAFE GIDA in Gebze, Kocaeli, to carry the legacy forward. In 2019, the second-generation family member, Nebil Tahincioğlu, joined the company to lead the brand into the future. Our founder, Dr. Engin Pak, decided to start yeast production in 1972 after years of hygienic industrial experience in pharmaceutical and raw material production. Pakmaya’s first factory was established in 1973 in İzmit-Köseköy, beginning with fresh yeast production and later expanding to dry yeast. The company promoted widespread use of commercial yeast in Turkey’s bakery market through extensive nationwide marketing. Starting exports to Iran, Pakmaya now supplies consumers in over 130 countries across 5 continents.
