Born in 1956 in Ayancık, Sinop, Kemal Yener moved to Istanbul at a young age to work, while continuing his education at Maçka Evening Art School. In 1978, he started his own business by opening a lathe workshop with his brother in Bayrampaşa. In 1980, he entered the marble sector by repairing an Italian marble cutting machine and became the first to produce a local marble cutting and polishing machine in Turkey. In 1990, he founded MKS Marble Cutting and Polishing Machines Ltd., which became a pioneer in its field. After his first export in 1993, he proudly represented Turkey as the only Turkish machinery manufacturer at an international fair in Italy in 2001. Alongside his business success, he became known as a philanthropist through his educational support and social responsibility projects. After his passing in 2012 at the age of 56, his name lives on in the schools he built. We founded our operations in Istanbul on January 1, 1985, by our father, Cemali Coşkun. Vivacita Tekstil, a respected company in the knitwear sector, offers its products through a chain of stores established in national and international markets. Our goals include prioritizing occupational safety and health, ensuring consistent quality in the inclusion of employees in the system in both internal and external communications, and providing training to employees in these areas. Our flat knitting machines are state-of-the-art, touch-operated machines capable of all types of patterns, designs, and production. Models created by our design team using M1 Click & Knit and Sirix software are tested and analyzed on the computer using the syntral check program before production begins. Once errors are identified and corrected, they are transferred to the machines via floppy disk and knit-memory card.
