Located in Elazığ Organized Industrial Zone, the Akdağ Integrated Stone Wool Facility operates on a 90,000 m² area, with 25,000 m² of covered production space. It is the first and only facility of its kind in the region. Built with Industry 4.0 Smart Factory technology, the plant is designed to ensure zero-waste, environmentally friendly production with seamless efficiency. Since its launch in 2021, the facility has held the region’s largest production capacity with 40,000 tons of stone wool annually. Upon completing the second and third investment phases, the facility will reach 100,000 tons per year with 40,000 m² of covered space. The plant generates its own electricity and auxiliary raw materials, and houses a research and development laboratory. Through partnerships with universities and professional institutions, it also serves as a training and development hub, supporting the growth of skilled labor in the sector.
