The goal is high operational availability, low specific energy consumption, and process-compatible conductivity/silica values. Reverse Osmosis (RO) Systems – 2x50 m³/h (N+1/twin-line architecture) Feed pretreatment: Automatic disc/multilayer filter, SDI ≤ 3 target; activated carbon (dechlorination) or sodium metabisulfite dosage; 5 µm cartridge filter. RO design: Low-energy membranes; recovery 65–80% (depending on raw water); antiscalant dosage; CIP (cleaning) unit; horizontal/multi-stage pumps (with VFD). Instrumentation: Conductivity (permeate/concentrate), flow rate, pressure, temperature, pH/ORP; differential pressure monitoring. Target permeate: < 10–20 µS/cm (suitable for demineralization line feed). 2) Demineralization – 2×40 m³/h Configuration (preference): RO + mixed bed (MB) or RO + EDI (electrodeionization). Effluent: ≤ 0.1–0.5 µS/cm, silica ≤ 0.02–0.05 mg/L (to be determined based on process requirements). Chemical regeneration (MB option): HCl/NaOH storage and regeneration station; Neutralization tank. EDI option: Continuous operation at low conductivity, no regenerator, low OPEX.
