Founded in 1984 under the leadership of the late Hacı Yusuf Akçaren, Aklar Gıda began its journey as a family-run wholesale food business. Over the years, with consistent efforts and sincerity, our growth has been steady and meaningful. Our first retail store opened in 1994 in Bahçelievler, Istanbul, marking a new chapter in our expansion. Soon after, we established a strong presence at Mega Center, one of Turkey’s leading food wholesale hubs.

By 2005, Aklar had grown into a network with one central hub and four branches. Adapting to evolving retail dynamics, we launched new brands such as Aklar Cash & Carry, Aklife, and Aklar Gross, all unified under the umbrella of Aklar Group.

Acknowledging the growing digital demand, we launched our e-commerce platform www.aklarsanalmarket.com, offering competitive prices and a wide range of national and local brands across Turkey.
