Tektem Makina began operations in 1990 in Istanbul as a cleaning and upholstery cleaning service. Since 1993, it has expanded its product range and capacity under the Cleanvac brand, producing carpet cleaning machines, industrial vacuum cleaners, pressure washers, hard floor cleaning machines, street sweepers, and battery-powered cargo and passenger transport vehicles.

The production facility is located in Karasu, Sakarya, on a 15,000 m² open and 8,500 m² closed area, while the company headquarters is located in the Ümraniye/Dudullu district of Istanbul. Tektem carries out all processes for its cleaning machines and electric vehicles in-house, from design to mold production and mass production. Furthermore, it ensures customer satisfaction by designing and manufacturing machines specifically tailored to the demands of the cleaning industry and the needs of electric vehicles.

With its distribution network, after-sales survey team, and after-sales service support in Turkey and many other countries, Tektem aims to deliver the right product to the right location on time and to ensure continuous efficient use.

Cleanvac's commitment to its products and customers has transformed it from a sole proprietorship into Turkey's largest privately held company, integrated with the production of industrial vacuum cleaners, automatic carpet washing machines, carpet extractors, floor cleaning machines, hard floor scrubbers and polishers, pressure cleaners, car washes, steam carpet and upholstery cleaning machines, and high vacuum machines. It has introduced many firsts to Turkey in manufacturing.
