Kroman Çelik Sanayii A.Ş. was founded in 1966 to manufacture and trade steel products and joined Yücel Group in 1985. Located in Darıca, Kocaeli, with 325,000 m² of open and 150,000 m² of covered space, the company employs 1,450 people and operates with an annual capacity of 1.4 million tons of liquid steel, 1.8 million tons of rebar and wire rod rolling, and 150,000 tons of profile rolling.

With a commitment to environmental sustainability, the company recycles steel scrap in its production processes while delivering high-quality products that meet international standards. Ranking 30th among Turkey’s top 50 companies further solidifies its leadership in the sector.

The Kroman Çelik Port Facilities, operational since 2002, serve both group companies and major industrial enterprises in the region. Spanning 30,000 m² with a 420-meter quay and a 13-meter draft, the port can accommodate ships of up to 60,000 DWT and handle 3 million tons of general cargo and bulk cargo annually. It also offers 15,000 m² of open temporary storage space, enhancing its logistics capabilities.
