Founded in 2016, Egyptian Cement was established with the vision of creating a unique and integrated building materials complex in Upper Egypt, to provide a wide range of essential products for the region’s development. A landmark cooperation agreement was signed between Mr. Ahmed Abou Hashima, Chairman of Egyptian Cement Group, and Mr. Shen Tao, Vice Chairman of Sinoma-CDI, to build this first greenfield cement plant – the cornerstone of a modern industrial hub powered by world-class technology.
