Drymix (United Paints and Chemicals S.A.E) was established in 1997 and was previously owned by Orascom Construction and United Holding Company (UHC) before being fully acquired by Saint-Gobain in June 2023.

This acquisition aligns with Saint-Gobain’s strategic plan “Grow & Impact”, designed to strengthen leadership and accelerate growth by broadening its portfolio of solutions for light and sustainable construction.

Today, with the combined expertise of Saint-Gobain Weber and the strong presence of the Drymix brand in Egypt, the Group is expanding its range of products, services, and training programs to serve all the needs of the Egyptian market in ready-mix mortars and renders.

The Drymix Weber plant is located in 6th of October City – Cairo and employs more than 200 staff.
