Kharafi National

Egypt

Kharafi National SAE was established in 1999 as part of M.A. Kharafi Group’s regional expansion strategy in Egypt and Africa. Since then, it has become a key player in Egypt’s EPCM and MEP market.

In its early years, the company focused on natural gas distribution projects in Alexandria, Al-Salam, and Sixth of October City, quickly becoming the leading private contractor in terms of customer conversions. It also played a vital role in Marsa Alam (Port-Ghalib), delivering major infrastructure works including power stations, potable and sanitary water treatment plants, and the district cooling plant, as well as executing EPCM works for the airport and several hotels.

Regionally, the company completed projects such as Addis Ababa Airport, the Gambia Beach Hotel, and the Kharafi Hotel in Ethiopia. In Egypt, it has worked with prominent clients including the American University in Cairo, Marriott Hotel, EMAAR, SODIC, NBE, and the Ministry of Electricity (East Delta Co.).

Building on its reputation for quality, timely execution, and cost-effectiveness, Kharafi National continues to expand in Egypt and Africa, actively pursuing major contracts with both local and international clients.
