The Saudi Fisheries Company was established in 1980 by Royal Decree No. M/7 as a Saudi joint-stock company, initially focused on marine fishing. Over the years, its scope expanded to include the investment, processing, and marketing of aquatic resources and related industries, both domestically and internationally.
As one of the first specialized companies in the Kingdom, it has built extensive expertise and infrastructure in fishing, aquaculture, logistics, food and seafood industries, wholesale trade, and the management of seafood restaurants.
The company operates shrimp and fish farms, three production plants, ice production and storage facilities, and warehouses with a capacity of 8,000 tons annually, supported by a fleet of refrigerated trucks to ensure product quality.
Its R&D division, in collaboration with universities and international experts, focuses on innovation in marine food production, breeding, and sustainability.
