How It Began – The ’80s

Founder and designer Hamid Sabry, an artist by nature and mechanical engineer by profession, began his journey in the 1980s creating classic handcrafted furniture. His passion for design led him to build billiard tables, and soon after, he pioneered one of Egypt’s first billiard halls — where craftsmanship met play.

A New Line – Playtime in the ’90s

In the early 1990s, inspired by the joy and needs of his own children, Hamid discovered a new opportunity — designing playgrounds.
What began as a father’s curiosity grew into a brand known for signature jungle gyms, swing sets, playhouses, seesaws, and more.
Decades later, Alamein continues to craft safe, joyful play environments, combining creativity, engineering, and family spirit.
