Our success story began in 1968 with a 25 m² workshop under the name “Yayla Şekercisi,” producing traditional sweets. Today, we continue our journey on a 5,000 m² facility where we manufacture biscuits, wafers, crackers, and cakes, earning the trust of consumers both locally and internationally. Our second factory, currently under construction in Ereğli Organized Industrial Zone, spans 10,000 m² and is expected to commence operations by the end of 2023. This will significantly expand our production capacity and market reach. Since our establishment, we have operated with a strong commitment to quality, service, and sustainable growth, constantly expanding our product range and target markets with determination. Our Story The story of TAFE GIDA begins in 1926 when the Tahincioğlu family entered the food industry with tahini production in the ancient city of Mardin. Between 1949 and 1956, the family’s youngest son, Fehmi Tahincioğlu, joined the business, and operations continued in Diyarbakır as a confectionery company. In 1956, KENT ŞEKERLEME was founded in Istanbul, with all seven brothers joining the venture. Over the years, KENT GIDA became the creator of many iconic products that earned recognition both in Turkey and around the world. In 2014, Fehmi Tahincioğlu established TAFE GIDA in Gebze, Kocaeli, to carry the legacy forward. In 2019, the second-generation family member, Nebil Tahincioğlu, joined the company to lead the brand into the future. SASİ Gıda (Salim Yiğit) Textile Construction Tourism and Industry Trade Ltd. Co. is a leading company operating 70 branches across Turkey, with two production facilities located in Ankara and Istanbul. Pakmaya’s first factory was established in 1973 in İzmit-Köseköy, beginning with fresh yeast production and later expanding to dry yeast. The company promoted widespread use of commercial yeast in Turkey’s bakery market through extensive nationwide marketing. Starting exports to Iran, Pakmaya now supplies consumers in over 130 countries across 5 continents.
