MASCO was founded in 1968 by Mohammed Ali Alswailem, who began his career in the early 1950s at Aramco. This experience shaped his vision and led him to establish his own company in the mid-1960s, focusing on road construction. In 1984, Mohammed Al Ali Al Swailem Trading & Contracting Co. was officially registered as a Saudi limited liability company with a capital of SAR 3 million. In 2006, the capital increased to SAR 100 million, and in 2007 the company was transformed into a closed joint-stock company. In 2011, the capital further rose to SAR 550 million, solidifying its strong corporate foundation.
